A post of pictures

I thought it would be fun to do a post of pictures- been in the process of writing a couple posts----and just wanted to get some pictures up---- pictures worth a thousand words? ehh well here we go...

Most exciting news: Got the REV3 kits! LOVE LOVE LOVE- Pearl Izumi has really comfortable tri gear and they did an awesome job with the design. love....love love!

...and speaking of Pearl Izumi---big thank you from my happy (stinky) feet. Had my maiden voyage of the Tri Fly IV Carbon shoes last night and LOVED the fit and feel of them. Ive never been comfortable biking without socks---until now. :)

Excited to take the Iso Transitions out also- they have these awesome "self drain" midsoles- and are super light. Excited to try sock-less---they seem to have built in socks----mmm

More news: My best friend in the whole world (yes I'm 5) Casey Albert graduated from University of New Hampshire this last weekend. Look at how beautiful she is! Also, her lovely family. I just love them. Can't wait to see her in a couple months...I can't believe its been 3 years------counting down the weeks!

Our Pasco pool opened!!!! All 50 meters of wonderful outdoor air. I took this at the first long course practice....this is about how i felt also- and I didn't get through the entire main set! They are animals!

These kids are just so awesome. I am so privileged to not only train with them- but work on strength and conditioning with them outside of the pool. One of my girls did 16 x 100s Fly (LONG COURSE) on 1:40....on wednesday.....and this wasn't even her main set! Woof! Very humble....awesome kids.

Speaking of awesome training- very excited for REV3 Portland coming up in 5 weeks or so. We are taking a HUGE group (of about 20) from my local tri group and IM so excited to enjoy the weekend with them all. This will be the first race (that Ive been a part of) which such a big group traveling from out of town. Everyone has been training hard and is getting soooooo excited to head West!

One of the Channel Cats Ive watched grow up from a little 10 year old gangle girl to Olympic Trial Qualifier, Washington State Swimming Record Holder, AND Valedictorian of her high school is graduating next weekend. She has been my training partner and "little sister" for eight years now- and I am so proud of everything she has accomplished- she has worked hard and earned all these awesome achievements. I am pretty sure Im going to bawl watching this girl walk down stage- she is sooooo soooo awesome- San Diego State is getting a great addition to their team next year.

My Drive to Portland for a whirl wind trip this last weekend. Beautiful Mt. Hood---I just love the PNW.

Something we need in Tri Cities. I love Whole Foods so much.

Just thought it was an awesome picture of our local Duathlon Fiasco in Pasco. Eric Greager puts on a great Triathlon series every year including a couple duathlons, aquathon, sprint triathlons and an olympic distance triathlon. www.3rrr.org.

Will post more soon.

Love, Erin
