sweaty palms

It has taken me awhile to realize that it is already 2011. I am still writing 2010 on most of my dates, and yet this year has been so unbelievably awesome that I must be thinking that I have dreamt the entire thing.

This morning I was welcomed into the Rev3 Triathlon Team and I have never seen such an "insta-family" of awesome people pursuing the same awesome goals. I am so excited and privileged to promote such an honest corporation filled with inspiring passionate people surrounding this hobby that has come to change my life (triathlon)....not to mention how EXCITED everyone sounds. I am so excited (for lack of better words) to welcome more people to this active, and emotional lifestyle and promote these well run, family friendly races. I mentioned something to one of my closest clients and he was so stoked- we talked like sugar filled children on Halloween talking about the possibilities in 2012- (Quassy?...PDX...Full REV in Ohio?). I have to admit, I have had sweaty palms all morning in a nervous excitement awaiting the next steps.

(PS Registration just opened for Portland- July8 WHO'S WITH ME?!)

This year has been a huge growing year for me. I took charge of things that weren't making me happy. At work I got my Personal Training Certification and started creating classes I knew were needed. At home I took charge of my life, moved out, and got an apartment. Emotionally, I started taking more care of my body, restarted my diet, and trained for my ultimate goals. Oh, and I got a kitty. I just cannot wait to see what 2012 brings!

Short post for this Wednesday night at work.

here's to a 2012 without direction :)

Love, Erin

  3. Yay teammates! I'm excited that you're so close by. However, after having read through your blog a bit more I'm not sure training together is realistic, more like you doing laps around me =).

I'm excited to hear what your race plans are and maybe to share plane rides and hotel rooms as we travel east!
