Starbucks

I try to go to Starbucks to do my dreaming. I think this has to do with the same reason why women like to get their nails and hair done. You don't have the opportunity to do anything other than think- and for the most part- relax. Relaxed thinking is perfect for dreaming.

I decided today, i'll get to what I'm supposed to do---but until then I really like what I'm doing right now.

Okay enough, here are some updates on me.

Its spring! Love it! Been getting out a little on the bike outside. How could you not on a day like that?

Last weekend at 3RRR's Rage in the sage (2.5mi Run- 10.25mi Mtn Bike- 2.5mi Run). I ran for one of the awesome Triathletes who is training for IMCDA and couldn't run for the race. It was a fun training run out at Kiona Winery. www.3rrr.org Has a whole series of Duathlons and Tris!

Been loving me some broccoli. I have been making a conscious effort to get back to my gluten free dairy free meat free lifestyle now that things are starting to get back into a rhythm.

The best news today! Smash top came!!!!! (see below)

I might or might not have spent close to 20 minutes trying to get my photo booth and my legs to time a jumping picture. Unfortunately---well this was probably the best one. Great. LOVE LOVE LOVE the fit though----I didn't want to take it off! www.smashfestqueen.com

This weekend I am running Eugene Marathon with my family and a couple friends. I am so excited but cannot believe that its already the end of April. The last couple of months have gone by so fast---I guess thats what happens when you get in the swing of training :) This was gearing up for my last long run

Last weekend I got to spend the evening with my entire Viuhkola family for my grandparents 50th anniversary. If you know my grandpa, you know that he is a fisherman of little words- and most of my childhood I spent pretty afraid of him---seeing him wiping tears from his eyes and slow dancing with my grandma will be some memories I will never forget. I am so proud to be a part of this family.

My uncle Doug and I at the party!

And- well- after this week I fully intend on getting back to this kinda training gearing up for SUMMER :)

Love, Erin
