2012

Wow! I can't believe how busy February has been! Between final preparations for race schedules, major pick up of training hours, and busy meetings with new members at the gym I don't know where the last 20 days have gone....

Notice: New layout of blog. I put my awful computer skills to test and the big girl panties on---and dun dun dun! New layout. I plan on making it a little bit more "fun" to look at...but my time management allowed me for just enough time to change what I did and get a post for this (snowy) Monday. So there ya are! (Notice: pictures are linked for easier access away from page----)

We had an AWESOME run this morning in the snow. Last week my 10 day forecast read it was going to be 63 on Wednesday----and, well I don't believe it. It was legitimately snowing this morning. Not like Tri Cities' wimpy snow either- it was the big flakes. I guess that outdoor ride will be inside hills :).

Can we take a look at this banner.....

Now, I've been a kid very interested in the Mayan Calandar and 2012 (owning multiple books on this ancient culture....and honestly my first tattoo is a Mayan hieroglyph....) so How BADASS is this?!!!!!! And I soooo totally agree. There is no year better than this...and no day better than today. What awesome swimbikerun(s) did you make time for today?

Oh, 6 minutes of squirmy 19 year old spontaneous-ness pain. "It will happen," as a tense of the verb happen. And, no- I didn't get it for the 2012 happenings- more as a stick it to my sister who always seems to underestimate me. Everything you put your mind and heart to---will happen.

Speaking of big happenings in 2012----- Have you heard??????

Starting March 26 Team Rev3 is setting off to run 3080 Miles with one goal: To Raise $100,000 for the Ulman Cancer Fund. I've always imagined someday riding my bicycle across america....but on foot?! From Oceanside, CA to Washington DC in 21 days. Amazing. It's all about helping young adults with the cancer fight. Want to know what you can do to help out? Check out http://rev3tri.com/america/raa-news/!!

Exciting things happening for the last year of the world. What's on your bucket list? :)

Erin
